About Us

Carol Young is the owner of the Target Tuition Centre in Clayton-Le-Moors. She opened her tuition centre in September 1998, and quickly established a reputation for providing high quality tuition within the Accrington area.

With over 30 years' teaching experience, and as a dyslexia and autism specialist, she has subsequently helped hundreds of children achieve their personal goals.

What We Offer

Carol and her team of qualified, experienced, DBS checked teachers provide tuition to improve skills in numeracy, literacy and science, not just for children who are struggling at school but also for those who wish to excel. Entrance examination candidates are also catered for.

Session Times

Tuition sessions normally last for 1 hour 15 minutes at a cost of £26.00 but shorter sessions are available for infant children by arrangement.

Monday: 4.00pm - 5.15pm / 5.30pm - 6.45pm
Tuesday: 4.30pm - 5.45pm / 6.00pm - 7.15pm
Thursday: 4.00pm - 5.15pm / 5.30pm - 6.45pm
Saturday: 10.00am - 11.15am / 11.30am - 12.45pm
